Re: Introducing.. OTRR Collections

The problem is with the links. The files are there in the folder.

For example:

The file name is

https://otrrlibrary.org/OTRRLib/Library%20Files/Collections/TedD//HaveGun/11-30-58%20%23%20The%20Road%20To%20Wickenberg.flac

but the link points to

https://otrrlibrary.org/OTRRLib/Library%20Files/Collections/TedD//HaveGun/11-30-58%20#%20The%20Road%20To%20Wickenberg.flac

# is a reserved character. The publishing software doesn’t like it and is messing up the link.

Paul, when I click on the link for Episode 1 of Have Gun will travel (11-23-58 flac) I get the following message.  I have the same problem with all the other FLAC files up to and including the 3/1/59 episode.  Then things seem to work.  I am not a computer expert so maybe this is on my end but it seems strange that I was able to access so many files.  This is not about downloading speeds.  It is getting past this error.  Thanks!

John

Could you give me a specific file with a problem? I'm not finding any (with a brief test).

Note: FLAC files are often MUCH larger than the corresponding mp3 file and may take MUCH longer to download before they are available for playing.
