This is sad news. I just learned that he was the author of fiction books. Never looked into his Bio. Since the mid 90's I have owned his tremendous book on OTR and read and consulted it often. Having now learned this, I have just gotten his book "Booked To Die" with his protagonist Cliff Janeway and will start it later today. A loss for his family and friends and all OTR lovers for sure.
