Nevermind, I came across several that I was sent prior and they all have titles. Now these are all from later in the run so I suppose it could be different during the early years.

Re: favorite shows
I enjoyed Paar. His interactions with regular guests, like Jonathan Winters, were warmer than Carson, who I thought of as mostly guests to promote something.

Re: .wav vs. .flac for distros
I prefer flac for distribution, and have had no problems. Otherwise, for my personal use either one is fine. Either format I have to convert to mp3 in order to upload to our YouTube channel.

Re: .wav vs. .flac for distros
I prefer wav format. Granted the files are larger but there is no compression. And wav files are ideal for burning to CD.

I always like WAVs but in the interest of disc space, have been fine with FLACs. Since it’s lossless, whomever wants WAVs can convert them. I do have issues with FLACS now and then on my Mac - if

Re: .wav vs. .flac for distros
Hi, Ryan.
I use a mac as my primary computer and haven't had any issues with flac files. If it's easier to convert and upload that format, I say go for it.

.wav vs. .flac for distros
I'm working on a new set and there's a fair number of episodes in .wav format. Of course, they're huge and converting them to .flac for distribution and uploading to Archive makes them a little easier

Re: Casey, Crime Photographer -- help needed -- updated Casey log!
Yesterday I mentioned the first NY Times listing was for July 4, 1943. That was a Sunday paper with a weekly schedule. The listing for the show was actually for Wed 7/7/43. I did not mean to mislead.

Re: Casey, Crime Photographer -- help needed -- updated Casey log!
Thanks for reminding me
For some reason the Alonzo Deen Cole papers have the name change noted as April 8, 1944
That makes no sense, because we have a copy of "Clue in the Clouds" with the series name
