Re: Missing Fibber McGee & Molly Episodes I need for distro
I’m afraid that the one labeled “FMM 370531 0112 The Insurance Salesman” is actually “Molly Returns.” From April 18, 1939.

I do have those early ones that Ted distributed that were already mentioned if they weren’t previously sent by the Purchasing Group.

Re: Missing Fibber McGee & Molly Episodes I need for distro
David,
I believe the show numbers 1189 (6/27/55) - 1253 (9/23/55) were reruns of earlier 15 minute broadcasts. I have been researching these shows and have a partial schedule of rebroadcast episodes

Re: Missing Fibber McGee & Molly Episodes I need for distro
I have two copies of the "Fibber's Birthday" episode, 1940.02.06. One is Flac, one is WAV. They are different sources, and one is WAV and one is FLAC. I believe the FLAC sounds MUCH better, but

Re: Missing Fibber McGee & Molly Episodes I need for distro
These ones have been in Ted Davenport’s Buyers Group, so the OTRR ought to have them in high quality. But I have copies too, and they are more than 6 months old so I guess it’s OK to share.

I’ve been working on Fibber McGee and Molly for a long time now (about 3 years off and on). I’m about ready to distro the files in the Purchasing Group. These will eventually be added to

FWIW: I found a copy of the 1952 program at the Walter J Brown Media Archives and Peabody Awards Collection at the University of Georgia. The program was the Voice of America's entry in the Peabody

Re: Box 13 -- TV pilot!
This nicely demonstrates why radio was better than TV. I shouldn’t be laughing at the fight scene, but imagination is so much better than seeing a fake fight. Thanks. I’m a Box 13 fan and really

Telly's Coffeehouse
Does anyone have a copy of Telly's Coffeehouse, a celebrity talk show hosted by Telly Savalas in the 1950s? I swear I saw it on YouTube, now I can't find it at all. Informaton on it is very confusing.
