Maybe the following kept "Life with Luigi" from having many radio episodes in 1954, if it even made it to the air.

"CY HOWARD'S being sued on "My Friend Irma" because of similarity to "My Sister Eileen." His "Life With Luigi" allegedly reminiscent of "Education of Hyman Kaplan." His "That's My Boy" supposedly a carbon of "Ah, Eilderness." Howard's latest, "Uncle Louie," reportedly a facsimile of "Happy Times." And you think you got problems !"

Consider the case of writer-producer Cy Howard, who's being sued on four of his shows, "My Friend, Irma," "Life With Luigi," "That's My Boy" and "Uncle Louie" (his latest) for their alleged similarity to "My Sister, Eileen," "The Education of Hyman Kaplan," "Ah, Wilderness" and a|character in "Happy Times," in that order ! Ouch."
