Ryan, Most of what Bill played is generally available. But he did do interviews during his shows from the 1970’s 80’S and 90’s from Gainesville Florida. I have a few of them because we corresponded over the years. So be aware that you should check each tape to see if there were interviews. Larry

A couple donated about 100 cassettes of shows recorded from the Bill Sabis show who apparently had an OTR show in the 1980s, when these tapes were recorded off the air. It didn't cost the group anything to get them but I don't know that there's anything necessarily worth digitizing. I'm going to post a list of the contents (going simply by what was written on the tape case) if anyone is interested in perusing them. If anything jumps out as potentially worth saving, let me know. Joe Webb has provided a tape deck so they can be played. I'm working on boxes of reels right now so this is not a high priority but this is a perfect job for crowd-sourcing. I think it's locked so folks can't accidentally make changes. |
