A Free Distro: Please Read Before Deleting
Larry Maupin
I am now ready to release a set of 8 episodes of the old-time radio soap opera The Strange Romance of Evelyn Winters to all members of this group who want it. Six of the eight episodes are not in the OTRR library, and all are of very good sound quality. The theme centers on the lives of the wealthy elite and the theater crowd of New York City in the mid-1940s. All the episodes are full length and lively, sometimes serious and sometimes funny, and move along briskly. There is an attempted assault, a jealous rivalry, and one segment ends with a wealthy spiff tripping off to watch a squash tournament.
To sign up for this distro (it is free and you do not have to pass it along to anyone else) just reply to this message here, or send me an email at lmaupin@.... If enough people respond I will post a full description of every episode here tomorrow giving dates, titles and episode summaries, then begin sending all the episodes to everyone who has requested them. I should add that Ryan Ellett contributed one of the episodes, for which I am grateful. Larry Maupin
