Hi Joe,

Just wanted to know if all the Theater Five episodes you discussed in your communication are now available on the OTRR Library for listening and downloading.

Thanks for all your continuing hard work on our behalf.

Subject: [OldTimeRadioResearchers] Theater Five -- all episodes posted!

Every day, for the last 9 months, a Theater Five episode has been posted with cast, plot, and links to audio. It's been quite the journey of discovery with the assistance of Karl Schadow and Nick Palmer and many, many others. The T5 Project to restore both the recordings and the reputation of the series is worth your consideration. Go to https://sites.google.com/view/t5-project/home This series has been so poorly understood and cast aside that classic radio fans have missed some marvelous and compelling entertainment and a great backstory. A lot of that had to do with the poor sound of so many episodes recorded off the air. We've made great strides in improving that situation and we're still making progress. The research we've compiled about T5 and its personalities has been very interesting. Visit the site, watch the video, listen to the programs, and start enjoying one of 1960s radio's most curious and fascinating series.

This is a much longer answer than "yes" but in case there are people new to T5 I thought I'd add more details.

The series is not in the official OTRR library but it's all at archive.org.
The surviving 256 episodes of the series are at https://archive.org/details/T5project
They can be streamed there or downloaded individually.

The full set of 261 recordings (there are multiple of sum because of airchecks and AFRTS versions that are included in the set) can be downloaded
Zip file of FLACs https://archive.org/compress/T5project/formats=FLAC&file=/T5project.zip
Zip file of mp3s https://archive.org/compress/T5project/formats=VBR%20MP3&file=/T5project.zip (there are 262 mp3s... not sure why there is one more -- but there is at least one recording of the 256)
We are working through some reel collections that have some better airchecks here and there, and they will be posted in a few months. But this set as it stands now is much better than what was posted before.

Project details are all at https://sites.google.com/view/t5-project/home
If you scroll down on this page https://sites.google.com/view/t5-project/home/six-t5-myths there is a list of suggested listening with links to each file
The video covers many of the topics on the "6 myths" page, but also a lot more. If you're new to the series, or have always wondered about it, the video that was done for MWOTRC really helps.

The blog site https://theaterfive.blogspot.com/2021/12/welcome-to-theater-five.html might be an interesting place if you are just streaming.

The posts of the episodes started in February with the first episode https://theaterfive.blogspot.com/2022/02/t51-hit-and-run.html
If you want to listen to the first episode and see all the plot descriptions and cast listings, start there and just keep clicking "newer post" at the bottom of the page to go to the next episode.

We keep hoping to stumble into the four missing episodes somewhere...
