Larry, I just got an email from somebody at reps saying that they received my $25 payment for membership to reps. I did not send this so I don’t know where this came from. Any idea how this could’ve happened?

As some of you know, I am the online librarian of the Radio Enthusiasts of Puget Sound.  I am probably the only person in the OTR community who is still doing distros that are theme-based and belong together as a set.  So far this year I have released several, including two from The Todd Collection, which REPS acquired late last year.  Three more are scheduled for release at present, one next week, another in May and another in early June.  These are the best reason I can think of for you to join the group.

These releases have generated the most enthusiasm among current members who are on the distribution list.  If you join now, you will receive the following and more: (1) "The Todd Collection: First Episodes;" (2) "The Todd Collection, 1947: A Week of Prime Time Radio;" (3) All 12 surviving episodes of The Bill Kemp Show, a series circa 1958 which is so rare that it is not in the OTRR Library, not in John Dunning's On the Air, not in David Goldin's RadioGoldIndex, and not in Vintage Radio Logs.  You will be one of the few people in the world to possess this set, and the program is very good; (4) A set of what are, in my opinion, the best episodes that have been acquired by the library so far this year.  I have arranged these so that they cover one week, with the days and time slots on which they were originally aired; (5) "The Todd Collection: The Early Years (1937-1945)" arranged so as to represent a week of programs on the days and in the time slots in which they were originally aired.  You will also receive everything else I send out between now and the date one year from now when your membership will come up for renewal.

To become a member, type repsonline.org into your browser, click on the link that takes you to the website, hover on Get Involved, then click on the link the drops down to join.  You can pay the $25 membership dues with PayPal or a credit card.  When you have done that, you should immediately receive a receipt in an email.  Please forward a copy to me and I will place you on the distribution list.  Also, please forward a copy to Jay Secord at jsecord@... so he can get you established as a new member and place you on the list to receive all issues of Air Check, the group's newsletter, and invitations to attend all the group's online webcasts.
