This episode is titled "Just Another Blonde" and dated June 11, 1937. She left her home in Georgeville, Indiana a few days ago to move to New York. Since moving in, she has been doing odd jobs to earn money. This morning finds her washing dishes in the back of a restaurant. She only has $45. Later in the day a man named Frank has a flat tire right in front of her while she is sitting down resting her feet. He agrees to give her a ride after she shows him how to change his tire. He then crashes the car into a fence, completely disabling it. Frank has $10,000 in the bank and has just inherited another $25,000. A few days later, Jean visits his home and tells him she is glad he broke up with his fiancee because she loves him. He says they will honeymoon in London. The program concludes with "You have been listening to another episode of Love Story taken from the pages of Street and Smith Magazine." Then "Listen for the Love Story girl in a new episode next week."
